Custom Golf Clubs and Repair
Oakmont Golf Center is proud to be one of KZGolf's premier club builders. For many years, Golf Augusta has specialized in custom building KZG golf equipment. Oakmont Golf Center is proud to continue that relationship with this strong line of clubs. In February of 2014, Dave Gedris was honored with the prestigious title of World's Top 100 Clubfitter for his skill, passion and integrity towards helping golfers play a better game.
We now fit for a full line of products from major manufacturers like Cleveland, Srixon, XXIO, PXG, Ping, Mizuno, and TaylorMade. Demo carts are available as well as the Mizuno shaft optimizer. Clubfitting charges are credited towards your purchase price and we match all competitors on new equipment.
Oakmont Golf Center provides a full range of club repair services all year round. Club repairs are done on-site by experienced club building professionals.
Mitchell Digital loft lie machines can measure your specs to within .25 degrees and the all new Auditor II Digital Putter machine will bend almost any putter, including oversized mallet heads, 2 ball, center-shaft, and double bend models.
Re-Gripping services: If your grips are worn out, or if you would just like to try a different grip texture or size, we offer a large selection of grips from all major grip manufacturers. If in stock, we can usually re-grip your club and have it returned to you within 24 hours. Special orders generally take several days to a week.
Re-Shafting services: We deal with top of the line shaft brands like KBS, True-Temper, Aerotech, Grafalloy, and Fujikura. The shaft can be replaced with newer technology or a better quality shaft than the one used by the original club manufacturer. Broken shafts can often be matched to the original shaft in your set at a cost that is much less than sending the club back to the manufacturer, and the repair can generally be completed in much less time. Other club repairs that are often done include lengthening or shortening existing equipment to fit new owners and adjusting swing weights to make sure the set fits the golfer perfectly. All club fittings are performed on site and adjustments can often be made in 24 hours. Trackman® 4 Dual Radar is available for custom club fitting.
